About the Creamy Microphone
Introducing our Creamy bidirectional ribbon microphone; a microphone whose name says it all: creamy and smooth sound!
Creamy is manufactured with high-quality components, resulting in super-faithful capture of sound sources.
It is a versatile microphone, even though it is a ribbon microphone, as its construction was designed to meet a wide range of capture requirements, allowing it to be used for practically everything in the studio.
Creamy is very special for recording vocals, string instruments, guitars, drums and other percussive instruments, resulting in a sound that is very smooth and balanced!
As it is a figure 8, it is a mic that captures from the front and back (bidirectional).
The front has a sound characteristic with slightly more accentuated highs.
The back has a sound characteristic with slightly more present bass and less accentuated highs.
Its body, components and internal parts are all made of metal. The motor is made of carbon steel, composed of 3420 Gauss Neodymium magnets.
With a smaller and much more efficient motor, the ribbon is now smaller, providing better sound quality and greater durability.
The grill (screens that protect the motor and the ribbon) are made of stainless steel, resulting in an excellent finish and insulation!
In addition to all these details, the Creamy is super easy to attach for use, as it already comes with a support built into the microphone itself, to be screwed directly onto the stand.
It also has an XLR connector with a high-quality cable coming directly from the microphone, giving it a special charm, just like some models of old ribbon microphones, such as RCA and other brands.

Usage and care tips
The Creamy ribbon microphone is in the low gain class, so it is suitable for higher volume sounds such as guitars and wind instruments.
To ensure good pickup of acoustic guitars and vocals, for example, we recommend a gain of 40 dB or more on your preamp.
We do not recommend leaving the phantom power on while using our Creamy ribbon microphone.
We build our microphones to last as long as possible.
When storing, keep them in the case in an upright position. This will ensure that the ribbon lasts longer over the years.
Use the pop filter to record vocals. The filter prevents wind blows from damaging the ribbon.
To record bass drums, we recommend positioning the microphone at a 45 degree position and also using the pop filter.
It is not recommended to place the Creamy Ribbon Microphone directly on the bass drum's air outlet.
